(A BUTTERWORTHS/LAW SOCIETY OF SCOTLAND JOINT PUBLICATION) Butterworths is delighted to announce a new edition of Keith Bovey’s highly acclaimed book – Misuse of Drugs. The second edition has been fully revised and updated to incorporate the corpus of Scottish case law which has developed in relation to most areas covered by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, in particular unlawful possession and searches. Legislative changes have been introduced by the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995, the Proceeds of Crime (Scotland) Act 1995 and the Criminal Procedure (Scotland) Act 1995. A chapter on statutory sentencing has also been included for this new edition.

The best-selling nursing drug handbook for 30 years is now in its fully updated 2010 edition. Organized by therapeutic class, Nursing2010 Drug Handbook provides quick access to current, accurate information on over 900 generic and 3,000 brand-name drugs. This edition includes black box warnings where appropriate, an expanded combination drug section, vaccine immunization schedules, and more than 1,350 additions, changes, and updates on indications, dosages, and administration.
The monographs are consistently formatted for ease of use, and they focus on the practical information that practicing nurses need. A companion Web Toolkit will include FDA warnings, new drug and herb updates, medication administration and safety videos, dosage calculators, patient teaching aids, pharmacology animations, English-Spanish audio medical phrases, NCLEX®-style questions, and CE activity.
